We discovered this small nook of woods last fall. It’s a 5 min drive from our place. It’s called Lemmenlaakso and it’s just perfect for a small excursion. Some sausages for the bbq, tea, chocolate and the perfect day unravels. This particular trip was two weeks ago, so spring was still quite well hidden. As it tends to be in Finland. I’m always, even after 10 years of living here amazed at how long it takes for grass to be green, for leaves to show up. It’s slow and very, very zen-like experience.
