I was actually offline for the better part of the week, so haven’t managed to save a whole lot of inspiring links. But instead I’ll share a few frames from magical Koli National Park. We went there over Easter holidays. Stayed in a small cabin on Lake Pielinen. Lake was still slightly frozen looking like shiny, broken armor. There were patches of snow here and there, but spring was in the air. The cultural landscape of the area is dominated by slash-and-burn farming, woodland pastures and log buildings. These were still abandoned, waiting for warmer days. Except that one shaggy-hair pony who was grazing lazily in birch coppice and then lifted his head, looked at me as if asking “what are you staring at?”
